The first thing you need to do on a daily basis is pray and intercede for your husband. You can pray like this:
Father, I thank You that this day Your life is within him. Because Your life is in him, he will flow in Your will this day. He will see people in need and be able to reach out and help them. He will be able to turn his back on those who are jeering at him and giving him problems. He will walk in success. He will be able to speak forth that which You desire, and he will not give in to the flesh.
Then you begin to intercede for your home:
Father, I thank You that this day my home is perfected. I thank You that my children walk in peace, joy, and love.
If your children are in school, take authority over the evil forces that would try to come against them. Then stand your ground, knowing they are protected.
You must pray on a daily basis. Don’t let things go until you feel an urgency in your spirit. Don’t wait until Suzy is acting strange and you don’t understand why.
How long has it been since you prayed for her? It should be daily. That is part of keeping your home in order—full of joy, peace, love, and understanding.
In doing that, you are causing your spirit man to live big inside you. Your spirit is dominating, and you are acting according to it and not according to your feelings or the world’s standards.
In this day and age, the big thing is “my ministry.” Don’t make the mistake of putting a ministry before your home. Everybody has a ministry. God says we are to reach out to people with the ministry of reconciliation. But that is not your personal ministry. It is the Church’s ministry.
God created the home first. Even if He has called you to a ministry, it is not to be placed above your home. If you are putting your ministry before your husband or your children, you are out of the will of God.
If there are no homes, there won’t be any churches. The devil would love to divide homes and split them up so there wouldn’t be any churches. Without churches, we could not be bound together in ideal harmony.
