Your Way Out of the Test

by Keith Butler | Uncategorized

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Cor. 10 13 KJV).

The Word of God tells us that Satan cannot use weapons against us that are from some another realm. He is bound to operate in the earth realm. But you are not bound to fleshly tools. You have the Greater One – the Holy Ghost – inside you, who already made the way of escape for you before the problem showed up.

The Scriptures are loaded with all you need to defeat the enemy in every situation and every circumstance. When you apply the Word of God, your situation is going to change. How is it going to change? It is going to get out of the way, because once the word begins to come out of your mouth about that situation, God is faithful to bring it to pass.

You can count on Him. He will not allow that thing to overtake you, so He has equipped you for the battle by giving you His Word.

Notice what the second portion of the scripture says: “…but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” I like those two words, “…will with…” I have been preaching this for 25 years, and every time I see those two words I get excited. “Will with” means that the answer came when the problem came.

Satan has never been able to get at you at a time when God has not already made a way out. You may not know what the answer is right now. So you should spend time before God and let the Holy Ghost lead you to the way out.

Now I like the way it says that He will make a way. “Make a way” means if the situation doesn’t want to go, it is going to get forced to go. God will make a door for you. He will make an escape for you. He will bring to bear His power against that situation so that you can escape, and you may be able to bear it, because His children should never be defeated.

God has always made deliverance for his people. His Word has come to deliver you and make you strong.
