Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
God is able to make us patient. He also gives consolation, which means comfort and support. These are necessary elements for us to possess to be likeminded with one another. If we are stressed or full of hurt it is difficult to put others first. But God gives comfort and strength to us so we may live at peace with each other, while pursuing Jesus Christ.
The Message Bible says: May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all.
We must strive to have the same mind with one another and also with Christ Jesus. God makes it possible for us to encompass the same point of view with one another as we follow Jesus. His strength and love allows us to live in harmony with one another. This will greatly benefit our own lives as well.
I walk in harmony with God and with those around me by practicing the example of Christ Jesus.
