Be the Best in Everything You Do

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt harken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy god will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deut. 28:1).

God expects His children to be set on high above all others. He expects that for us, and we can believe Him for it. It belongs to the children of the Lord to be set on high above all others. He sent Jesus to see to it that we have all we need to accomplish this great task.

You can be the best at whatever you do. And you should be the best, because you serve the best. After all, your Father owns all the earth. Of course, to be the best at anything, you have to strive to be the best. Decide you want to be the best. And then continue to do the things necessary to perfect what you do, whatever it may be.

For example, if you’re a good pastor, you can be always become a better one. If you’re a good doctor, you can become a better one. If you’re a good teacher, you can become a better one. If you’re a good father or mother, you can become a better one.

Become a better one by asking yourself the question, “How can I get better?” Then never allow yourself to be satisfied with the status quo. Find out what you need to do to become better, and then do it.

The blessing of God, will overtake you when you hearken diligently to the Word of God.

Staying focused on your goal helps you to be the best. As you strive to be the best, make sure you keep your focus on obeying the Word of God. Be instant in obeying Him, and watch Him set you up to be the best at what you do.

Stay God-focused and word-focused as opposed to work-focused and career-focus. When you keep your focus on the Word of God, He will then set you high above all your peers. You can be the best in everything you do!
