In 2010, Sean Miller arrived at Living Free Recovery Services, a faith-based chemical dependency program. After spending the better part of 16 years running the streets, he found himself lost in a dark world of drugs and street life. Empty and defeated, he turned his eyes to heaven and cried out for God. Sean accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 2010 and began his healing process. After completing treatment in 2011, he became a member of Living Word Christian Center. Sean went back to school in 2011 to obtain his license in addiction counseling. He completed his bachelor's degree in 2016. In his work as an addiction counselor, Sean learned the key to long-term recovery was through developing a healthy relationship with God, self, and others. He went on to complete his graduate degree at Bethel Seminary in Marriage and Family Therapy and is now a marriage and family therapist working with ministry staff at Living Word in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
