The enemy will try to pull you back into bondage and keep you contained, so that you will react to his smoke screen of fear and doubt, thus causing you to be on the same old wheel, going nowhere.
Wait! Don’t quit! Don’t give up! Don’t let weariness overtake you.
The Lord says in Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” The Amplified Bible says, “if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint….”
The enemy comes with discouragement, pressure, and doubt. Don’t give in to his lies.
I just preached a message at my church concerning the number zero.
You see, the enemy will come to steal your peace by bringing the old feelings and thoughts to your mind and emotions in order to trap you into agreeing with him that you won’t make it.
The old you is very familiar with these feelings and thoughts. You have lived with them and have been motivated by them throughout your former years prior to your new birth life. But now, you have the power and ability of your Father God inside of you, so you do not have to be controlled or motivated by the old man.
You are not helpless any more. Instead of being a victim you are now a victor! Instead of going from crises to crises you can go from blessing to blessing! Take a look at Hebrews:
Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him]. For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning. Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy, [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
(Heb. 4:14-16 AMP)
He is where you are right now and He is always on time.
The enemy will try to pull you back into bondage and keep you contained, so that you will react to his smoke screen of fear and doubt, thus causing you to be on the same old wheel, going nowhere.
You know! Like the hamsters—those little guys just run and run and never get anywhere. When you give in to the old fears and feelings (instead of speaking to your mountain and going through it), you end up going around it over and over again.
If you want to quit, quit the old way of thinking and reacting in fear and begin to think like a child of God.
Walk like a Child of God. Talk like a Child of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Your Father God is a God of love. It is His love that surpasses all human understanding and His love that chose you before the very foundation of the earth.
Ephesians 1:4-6 (AMP) says:
Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]. [So that we might be] to the praise and commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
Before earth ever existed, you were in the heart of God. He looked down through time, saw you in your worst state, and still said “that is My child. I choose to have them as My own.”
The love of God is real! When you stand up in who you are, and in who He is, you will truly be a victor, going from blessing to blessing. So don’t give up, don’t quit, stand up in who you are…stand up in Him.
Because if you don’t quit, you’ll come through a victor!

Reverend Barbara A. Thorne was born again in 1945, at the age of nine and began fulfilling the call of God on her life in 1969. By 1970 she was working in the ministry as the pastor of a small Methodist mission house in Tuscumbia, Alabama. It was during this time that she experienced what most charismatic Christians would call revival.
During this six and a half-year outpouring of God's Spirit, Reverend Thorne saw many saved, healed and delivered by God's awesome love. When the revival ended God led her to Rhema Bible Training Center to learn the word of faith. Since then she has gone on to pioneer churches abroad, in South Africa and in Europe.
Currently, Rev. Thorne was founder and pastor of Harvest Family Church, a non-denominational Christian fellowship, located in Somerset Massachusetts.
She was also founder and dean of International Bible School. Rev. Thorne served the Lord for thirty-two years, traveling the globe, preaching and teaching the uncompromised Word of God and ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Her heart was to raise up faith-filled leaders, in the Body of Christ, for the work of the ministry, both in the U.S. and internationally - to teach believers to fulfill their calling and live victoriously in Christ through the unfailing love of God.
