“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 18:19).
Do you know that you can more than double your power with agreement? The verse says if two of you should agree on earth as touching anything they shall ask, it shall be done. The word “agree” means to harmonize like a symphony.
Now a symphony orchestra has a lot of different pieces. However, when the musicians are tuning their instruments before a performance they are not harmonizing. But when the performance begins, and the conductor taps on the podium, they begin to play together and produce a beautiful, harmonious sound.
Obviously, we are all different, but we only have one conductor, our Lord Jesus Christ. When we learn to love, honor, and prefer one another, only then are we able to operate in agreement. When we join in agreement together, Jesus is there to make good whatever we agree on.
Now Satan knows this, that’s why he has tried to do everything in his power to divide us by race, age, or by anything else. He wants to get us fighting with one another because then he knows there will be no power in our agreement.
The power of agreement is formed in the realm of the spirit. Now, I have been married for 27 years and everything that Deborah and I have is because of total and complete agreement.
That is how powerful agreement is. It works when we are on one accord. You see, when you get God’s Word on something, and then you both set your faith in agreement together on it, there is nothing that you can’t have manifested.
However, you don’t have to be married to have the power of agreement. Single folks can use the power of agreement too. Whenever any two or more people come into unity and pray over a matter, it will always manifest. That’s what the Word said, didn’t it? But you have to operate your faith in the power of agreement.
Learning to use the power of agreement is one of the keys to the kingdom of God. So open the door of blessings to yourself and your family, in your church, on your job, or wherever you are. Take your rightful authority in the name of Jesus. You have the Word of God. Now double your power. Join your faith with another believer and see the goodness of the Lord manifest.
