“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king” (Dan. 3:17 KJV).
God will deliver you no matter who you are, what race or national origin you are. When you know who you are in Christ Jesus, then there is no one who can stop you from succeeding in life. Putting your trust and faith in God will always cause you to rise above the circumstances of life and be on top.
God will deliver you like He delivered the three Hebrew boys in Daniel chapter three. The word deliver in this context means to leave free.
In Daniel chapter three we see three Hebrew boys by the name of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They had become high government officials – Jews in Babylon. Hence, they were the wrong people, the wrong race, even in the wrong country. But that doesn’t matter to God, it didn’t matter to them, and it shouldn’t matter to you either when men try to keep you down.
You can still be on top, because nobody can keep you down, when your trust is in God. God didn’t create you to fail. He created you to win. Because your faith is in Him, you don’t need special privileges. All you need is faith in God, because you and God are a majority.
Now these three Hebrew boys were the presidents of their own province. And there were people who are really upset about it. So they attempted to set these guys up for failure. They knew that these Hebrew boys only worshiped God, so they got the king to make a build a golden image, requiring all in the province worship it. All who didn’t bow were to be burned to death.
Those who are opposed to righteousness always have a scheme. But the Bible says, many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers them out of them all. And you don’t have to bow down to any other god except the Living God.
If God has to have you stand and fight, He will equip you to win the fight. If He has to lift you up out of danger, He’ll do that. If He has got to snatch you away from the problem, He’ll do that. If he has to rush you pass the temptation, He will do that.
Even if He has to get right in there with you and see to it that He leaves you free from the singe of fire, as He did with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, He will do that. Whatever it takes to deliver you, He will deliver you.
