Favor Brings Restoration to Your House

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

“And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty” (Ex. 3:21 KJV).

God is speaking to Moses in the desert, telling him how deliverance will come to Israel. After the plagues of Egypt come, God says, “…And I will give this people favor.” They would have favor in the sight of the Egyptians.

God restored everything that the Israelites lost. And God will restore everything you lost. Note what he said in Exodus 3:22: “Every woman shall borrow of her neighbor and of her that sojourneth in her house…” That’s referring to the Egyptians. Jewels of silver and jewels of gold and clothes.

God said that He is giving them favor. As a result of that favor, you are going to have restored to you all that is due you. It wasn’t enough for God to deliver Israel. He had to deliver them and give them everything they needed. And God is no respecter of persons, if you have favor with Him, He won’t just deliver you. He will also give you what you need and more besides.

Favor brings restoration. That means all that the devil stole from you, God is getting it back to you. So, in order to activate the favor in your life ask God for favor. Secondly, thank Him for it. When you ask a favor of someone, you thank them for it even before it’s done. So, thank God for the favor in advance.

Then praise God for the favor that He has restored to you. And be sure to give Him all the glory. It’s not how you did it, or how smart you are, or how handsome you are, or even how clever you are. It is how big God is, and how great God is.

Give God all the glory. Give him the glory and testify to others. Testify to everything that moves. Testify to everything that walks. Testify to everything that talks. Testify to everything you see. He’s a God of favor. And He’s on your side.
