Four Steps to Lasting Results

by Marty Copeland | Uncategorized

Once you were born again, all things became new. You were reborn with right standing before God, and you received all the ability it takes to walk in victory all the days of your life.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4-5)

I’ve got good news! Jesus wants you to be free from every kind of bondage—whether it be overeating, cigarette smoking, alcohol abuse, or fear that you’ll gain back the weight you’ve lost. Before you start a regular exercise plan and change your habits, be sure to put these four steps to work for you so your results will last.

1) Make Jesus Your Lord (1 John 5:1-4)
Making Jesus Lord over everything in your life—from your spirit to your physical body—will be the best decision you’ve ever made. It’s also a very necessary decision in order to involve God’s anointing in your freedom. Isaiah 10:27 says God’s anointing is His burden-removing, yoke-destroying power—and it’s just what you need to stop the power of sin and death once and for all.

2) Put Your Hope and Faith in God (2 Cor. 10:4-5)
Too many times we put our hope in carnal weapons — diets, pills, certain kinds of exercise — and then, by faith, we believe that those things are going to win our warfare. But when you put your hope and faith in carnal things, there’s no substance. You’re deceived into fighting a spiritual warfare in the arena of the flesh. So put your hope and faith in God. It’s the only sure way to lasting victory.

3) Realize the Past Doesn’t Matter (2 Cor. 5:17)
Once you were born again, all things became new. You were reborn with right standing before God, and you received all the ability it takes to walk in victory all the days of your life. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve failed, put your hope in a weight-loss product or anything else, because now you can do all things through the Anointed One and His Anointing.

4) Walk in the Spirit (Gal. 5:16)
When you walk in the Spirit, you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. Instead, you’ll begin to develop the fruit of the Spirit as you fill yourself with God’s Word and discover who you are in Christ. And it’s the fruit of the Spirit — patience, faithfulness and self-control — that gives you the power to overcome.

So get your hope off diets, “fast fixes” and carnal weapons today, and put your hope in God. Because when you put your hope and faith in Him, you’ll release the power of His yoke-destroying anointing to produce burden-removing results that will last!

Most importantly, she is here, doing this, because she has experienced first hand that God not only desires to help us reach our health and fitness goals, but He has the perfect plan that will lead us to a lifestyle of freedom and self-control. She has come to know that true health is more than just having a strong and healthy body-though that is something we should all enjoy. True health also includes a strong spirit and soul. It is when our spirits are full and our minds are strong that living a healthy lifestyle becomes easy.

God's desire for all of us is life, peace and joy in every area . No matter who you are, where you are in life, or what fitness level you are at, there is always room for improvement-you can always go higher. We simply can not exhaust God's ability to make us better. Marty believes with all of her heart that God has called her team and herself to equip you and your family with what you need to go higher, spirit soul and body.
