Get On God’s Assembly Line

by Andre Butler | The Anointed Word

“The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” (Prov. 11:25 KJV).

God wants us to be just like Him. When we are liberal individuals, then we are acting just like God, because when God gives, He gives liberally. So the liberal soul is the person who acts like God; and the Bible says he will be made rich.

Notice what the second part of Proverbs 11:25 says. “…he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Now I looked at the word water so that I could have a clearer definition of the word. I was wondering why God would use watering to describe giving. I found that a good example of watering is taking care of a plant.

You water a plant for two reasons.

1) You water the plant because it is dry and it needs water to survive.

2) You may have a plant that is doing fine but you water it so it can blossom. In the same way, the individual who is consistently giving as God has directed them to give, will see God show up and meet their need and cause them to blossom.

There is a particular phrase I like in Proverbs 11:25. And that is “The liberal soul shall be made fat.” Brother Kenneth Copeland once likened the words made fat to an assembly line.

Since I’m from Detroit where they make cars, I understand how something is made, or manufactured. When something has been put on an assembly line, pieces of metal for example, each piece is connected to another piece until the automobile is fully assembled at the end of the line.

First it was pieces of metal. Then it became a car. So when the Bible says a liberal soul shall be made fat, what I see is a man who begins to consistently give. He may not be rich while he is giving, but if he continues a life style of giving seed, one day that seed will produce a harvest.

It is as though he is on the assembly line of God. God is putting that wheel on. God is putting that windshield on. God is putting that trunk in. God is putting the paint on. And one day he will look in the mirror and find out that he has been made rich by the almighty God.

God is saying to you today that prosperity is what He promised you. Don’t you settle for anything less. Don’t you let the devil take your harvest. You tell him to take his hands off your harvest. God said He will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so Satan has no right to touch your money. He has no right to touch your miracle. He doesn’t have a right to it, so stand up and claim what is yours.
