“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
Jesus tells us to go out preaching everywhere and the Lord will be working with us by giving witness to His Word with signs that will accompany our obedience to this Great Commission. We are not alone; God will be at work through us every step of the way.
The Message Bible says: “And the disciples went everywhere preaching, the Master working right with them, validating the Message with indisputable evidence.”
Too many times we hesitate to say or to do anything because we ask ourselves the faith-destroying question, “What if nothing happens?” Forget that and instead ask yourself, “What will I do when something happens?”
The answer, of course, is we will praise God and give Him all the glory, for it was God working in and through and with us all the time anyway. Don’t wait. Do your part today.
