If anyone says, “I can’t hold out,” read these verses of Scripture to them.
There are those who will say, “I am doing the best I can.” For those people, give them Romans 3:19,
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Verse 20 says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
Read on down in verse 24: “Being JUSTIFIED freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
Galatians 2:16:
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
