“…Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise Him.”
This verse is a quote from Psalms 117:1. Praise is the proper garment to have on as we approach God in prayer. Praise is what we do when all else has been said. Praise looks good on God’s people and God is pleased when we praise Him for who He is, what He has done, and what He means to us.
The Message Bible says: “And again: People of all nations, celebrate God! All colors and races, give hearty praise!”
Praising God is a universal language. All nations, peoples, tribes, cultures, and tongues are to participate in lifting words and sacrifices of praise to God our Father through Jesus Christ His Son. We are told to “let all the peoples praise Him.” That must then include you and me. One thing about it, praise always looks better on us than any other option. Let every one who has breath raise their voice and lift up on high the wonderful adulation of our Father’s immaculate being.
Today I will lift my voice in praise to the Lord Most High for He is worthy to be praised.
