God wants us to express our love to Him by using our energy. As a teenager, He wants you to use your crazy, teenage, wired, frenzied energy to love Him. It’s no wonder He wants to use young people – He knows they have a lot of energy to spare.
Let’s be constantly looking for another way to use the life within to show the world more of Jesus. We have to quit giving ourselves to stupid petty things that just drain energy and waste time. Sure, you will still be involved in other things (using some energy), but the real rush is to use your energy for God. The more intense the assignment, the better.
Let’s also welcome physical challenge. This is not being a mealy-mouthed, please-don’t-make-me-work-or-sweat-because-I-might-melt Christians. Be ready to work your tail off for God – no matter how hard it is.
There is no challenge too great for you, no job too hard. There is no mountain too high or river too wide for you to cross. Count the cost and be ready to pay it. Grab that bull by the horns and wrestle it to the ground every time.
It does not matter how long or how hard the job is, if you are a world changer, you are up for it. It will take work if you are really going to change this world.
