New Year’s Devotion and Prayer

by Germaine Copeland | Uncategorized

Remember the energy you had a few weeks ago for last-minute shopping and cooking? The excitement of seeing friends and family both come and go? The hurriedness of the season may have worn you out and all you want now is rest and peace. Take time to restore your energy, but don’t miss out on a time of celebrating the possibilities in front of you. This could be the year you see a long-held desire manifest for you. Every day will give you an opportunity to learn to trust God more.

Enter this next calendar year with a plan. It is wonderful to have goals because they energize you for each day. Think about a new hobby or search out your hidden talents. The Holy Spirit is there to help. Look for ways to connect with others who have a heart to share the good news and consider getting connected with them. The ideas and possibilities are endless as we decide to get up and running with the Lord!

Father, in the name of Jesus I thank You for the year You have brought us through. Thank You for the New Year ahead that is full of Your grace and glory for my friends.  Thank You for being their shield, their light and guiding them through all their days. Together we bless You and give You praise for each new day. Amen

Happy New Year!
