Prayer for Mom

by | Uncategorized

I pray that my family is founded and securely built upon Your Word, like the house that was founded upon the rock.
Father, I bring my mother before You in prayer. Thank You that we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. Your Word says that it takes wisdom to build a good family and understanding to make it strong. I ask that You make my mother strong and wise. Please fill her with the knowledge that she needs in order to build strong, healthy relationships with our family.

Help me to act and speak in love towards my mother. I pray that my brothers, sisters, and I will obey, honor, and respect our mother’s authority, that we may live in peace and quiet so that things will go well with us and we will live a long life on this earth.

I pray that my family is founded and securely built upon Your Word, like the house that was founded upon the rock and built so securely that when the flood came, the house couldn’t be shaken.

Help us to bear with each other and forgive each other, as You have forgiven us, and to love each other as You have loved us. I want the peace of God to rule in our hearts. Open our eyes that we may realize the gift of God that is in each one of us, so that we no longer view one another from a human point of view, but from Your point of view.

Help us to value, respect, and be grateful for each other, instead of taking each other for granted. Help us to remember that because we are members of one body, we are called to work together peacefully.

Father, I pray that my mother and family and I will always choose to serve You, and that our hearts will forever be knit together in love. I pray that our home will be a place of safety and refuge, a place of encouragement, filled with laughter, happiness, love, and joy.

Thank You so much for providing for all of our physical, emotional, and financial needs. Thank You for giving Your angels charge over us so that our home is safe from all danger, harm, or evil.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
