Putting God First!

by Scott Sibinski | Uncategorized

If you leave one inch, the enemy is going to try to take you mile after mile after endless mile…until YOU stop the cycle. You need to stay so filled up with God that there’s no room for anything else.

You need to get to the point in your relationship with God where sin turns your stomach.

Jeremiah 2:13 describes one of the facets of God; it’s a different angle from which we can look at God—He calls Himself “The fountain of living waters.” It just proves that God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.

Fresh And Anew
If He is the fountain of living waters, then there will always be new things coming out. Right? It will never be old stagnant water but this water will always bring forth fresh, new things.

In other words when your life changes and there are different situations that you are going through, you can go to God because He always has fresh new things for you. And if He’s got fresh things coming out for your life, He’s going to bring you into a higher place with Him. But only if you absorb those things!

Stay consumed with Him, consumed with the call, consumed with the fire of God for your life. God wants to use you! That’s right! YOU!

He wants to use anybody that will listen, anybody that will be willing and anyone that will be obedient. And you know that His Word says, if you are willing and you are obedient, you shall eat the good of the land (Isa. 1:19).

The Good Of The Land
Do you think those that eat the good of the land, live in poverty? NO! Just think of all the things the rich people eat and all the fancy restaurants they go to.

If we are willing and obedient, we’ll eat the good of the land. That means He’ll get us into a position of prosperity.

Hey, if we put God first in our life, He’s going to give us every single desire of our heart (Ps. 37:4). He’s going to give us everything that we can even possibly fathom and above and beyond that (Eph. 3:20).

Why? Because He’s the El Shaddai, He’s the God that is more than enough!

Scott, a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota grew up with a passion for playing drums. By the time he was 17, he had played with several Christian bands and once had the opportunity to tour with Whiteheart... however, it was turned down because God had better plans!

God's better plans included marriage to his wife, Heather, becoming a student at North Hennepin Community College, and subsequently moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma for two years of Bible school at Rhema Bible Training Center. Scott's two year training included an emphasis in youth ministry.

After graduation, Pastor Scott served on staff at Living Word Christian Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota (Pastor Mac Hammond) under youth pastor Steve Munds.

Scott's vision is to teach and preach the uncompromised Word of God by precept and example; to disciple others into a position of leadership that they can take with them throughout their life.
