Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
We are to share the message about Jesus with the people around us, and with wisdom warn and teach them what we know. That’s the way we all follow Jesus and grow so we can become mature. If we neglect our responsibility to the plan of God, not only will the lost not be found, but also we will not develop as God planned.
The Message Bible says: We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less.
We spread the message about Jesus by telling how He has loved us and forgiven us and given us a new life of joy. We want everyone to enjoy God’s presence as a mature believer in union with Jesus Christ. It’s like one child enjoying an ice cream cone so much that it draws the attention of other kids to him. It is then our responsibility to share it with them.
I must share Jesus with others today so they can enjoy His love and forgiveness too.
