The Bible teaches us in First Corinthians 6:18 to flee sexual immorality. God is not a “Grinch” trying to steal all the fun out of your teenage years.
He wants to protect you and prepare you for a wonderful marriage relationship where sexuality will have its perfect place.
Here are six reasons to say “no” until then:
- You will close the door on sin and its destructive nature.
- The thought of raising a baby while you are a teenager will never enter your mind.
- You will never have a doctor tell you that you’ve contracted a sexually transmitted disease.
- Your friends and classmates will never see compromise in your life that will cause them to talk behind your back and lose respect for who you are.
- God will be able to trust you with His very best as you give Him your best.
- You will never have to deal with “ghosts of relationships past” in your marriage relationship.
