The Holy Spirit is not a strange, mystical being. He is God. His presence has been promised to you as a gift from the Father (see Gal. 4:6). As you come to know Him as a divine Person, you will better understand the way He works.
Do not limit this relationship. Allow it to flourish as He becomes your closest Friend. Through intimacy with the Spirit, you have everything you need to please God (see 2 Peter 1:3). His power gives you “the hope of righteousness by faith” (Gal. 5:5 NKJV). The Lord’s deepest desires for you will be fulfilled as you commune with Him. Honor Him for who He is, and you will experience the fullness of the Spirit!
