The Wealth of the Sinner – The Harvest of the Just

by Andre Butler | The Anointed Word

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38 KJV).

God never said that your blessings are going to just fall like manna from heaven. You are not going to be walking through your workplace one day and have a flush of cash pour upon you. However, God has promised you that, if you are a liberal giver, men would give back to you.

If God were to create money in heaven and pour it out on you, it would have to be counterfeit. And God is not in the counterfeit business. Using the money already in the earth, He has to exert His influence to have men give to you. He has got to use men. And that is what Jesus said. He said to give and “men will give into your bosom.”

Job 27:13-17 tells us who some of the men are that God is going to use to give to you: “This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.” Now, the wealth of the sinner is harvest of the just. They are the same thing.

The word portion means allotment – or you could say paycheck. In other words, every man on this planet is going to be paid for the work they’ve done on the earth. This is the paycheck of a wicked man. It doesn’t matter how rich you are if your children die. His money is going to get lost. And he will have a wife that doesn’t love him. But that is not all.

Notice verse 16, “Though he heap up…” Notice those two words, “heap up.” If you can heap up silver as the dust, you have a lot of silver. When my wife does the laundry, she likes to use me as a human forklift. So when clothes in the dryer are done she says honey come here. And then she puts this big old heap of clothes on me and I have to go carry it into the right room. Imagine somebody heaping up silver like that.

This man is rich. However, although he heaps up silver as the dust and prepares raiment as the clay, he’ll never wear the clothes nor use the silver, because the just shall put it on. “The just” is you. Say, that is me. The just shall put it on. And the innocent have the silver.

As you can see, the wealth of the sinner is the harvest of the just. And this silver and this clay is going to find it way into the hands of the just.
