When you read the title, “A Match Made in Heaven,” I am not saying that maybe someday you will find the person that you think is from Heaven above, (although I think I found that in my life).
I am here to tell you that our first and foremost love is (and should be) Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. He has given us the ability to have everything that we need in our life; therefore we have a match that was “made in Heaven.”
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you. For welfare and peace and not for evil. To give you hope in your final outcome that you will call upon me and you will come and pray to me and I will hear you. Then you will seek me, inquire for and require me, as a vital necessity.
(Jer. 29:11-12 AMP)
I like that last part, “…as a vital necessity.” God is VITAL to our life! Just like we have vital signs.
Ever watch ER? In the emergency room at the hospital, they have that little meter that they use to show the vital signs of a person to the doctor or nurse. That’s what the Bible is talking about here. It’s VITAL that we have a spiritual walk with God every day.
If we want to have anything to do with God and the blessings that come thereof, we need to realize that we need to be in focus with Him. That is where we receive the vital signs of the Spirit that bring us strength to walk in the supernatural.
The last part of Jeremiah 29:13 (AMP) says, “and find me when you search and search for me with all your heart.” That is what it comes down to. It is a heart relationship with our Lord and Savior. Do you love Him with all your heart?
God loves me and I love Him in return. As a matter of fact, God loved us before we even knew what love was! He knew us before we were set on the face of this earth. God has positioned us in that place for a blessing.
Fall in love with Jesus this week! He is your match made in Heaven!

Scott, a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota grew up with a passion for playing drums. By the time he was 17, he had played with several Christian bands and once had the opportunity to tour with Whiteheart... however, it was turned down because God had better plans!
God's better plans included marriage to his wife, Heather, becoming a student at North Hennepin Community College, and subsequently moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma for two years of Bible school at Rhema Bible Training Center. Scott's two year training included an emphasis in youth ministry.
After graduation, Pastor Scott served on staff at Living Word Christian Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota (Pastor Mac Hammond) under youth pastor Steve Munds.
Scott's vision is to teach and preach the uncompromised Word of God by precept and example; to disciple others into a position of leadership that they can take with them throughout their life.
