Being in the Right Place

by Keith Butler | Articles, Christian Living

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints” (Eph. 1:18).

God’s strategies only work when you get everybody in the right place.

Jesus has a call just for you. And you need to know what it is. It is not enough for the pastor to find out that he is called to be a pastor. It is only enough when every part of the church knows what they are supposed to do. And that knowledge must come from the Holy Ghost.

If the leg muscle is up in the heart, it is in the wrong place. If the stomach muscles are in the head, there is a problem. You have to get the right thing in the right place. That comes by prayer. It is a strategy of God.

The individual who spends enough time before God will find out the hope of their calling inside of them. I saw my calling in my heart long before it ever happened. I saw myself preaching to thousands of people, in different places around the planet. I had the image inside.

God will give you an inner image of what He wants you to do. Your head may say, “I don’t see that.” Everybody else may say, “You aren’t this or that.” But God will give you an inner image if you’ll seek Him, so that you can be in the body where He wants you. Then He can supply to you what He wants; and He can supply through you what He wants to go to other places. Every joint supplies when every joint is in the right place.

Now I am praying for you like Paul prayed, that the eyes of your understanding will be opened. You will come to know the inner image. You will see the vision of your place of this nation God has called. You will see your place, your work, and get in it. You will be that which God has anointed to bring about the return of the Lord Jesus. I thank God for you. You are in the body and you are a very important part of it.

Now thank the Father for showing you. Thank Him in advance for showing you what He wants you to do in the future, where He wants you to go, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
