He’s Still The One

by Beth Jones | Articles, Christian Living

Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one.
(Acts 4:12, MSG)

Andre Crouch used to sing the song, “Jesus is the answer for the world today, above Him there’s no other, Jesus is the way….” It’s still true. Salvation comes no other way—Jesus is the answer for every ill, every war, every hurt, every pain, every sin, every injustice, every broken heart and every empty, lost person on Planet Earth!

I know it’s not politically correct these days…but it’s true nonetheless; Jesus is still the way, the truth, the life and the only way to the Father. As Christians we need to keep a constant “grip” on this basic reality. Jesus didn’t say He was “a” way…He said He is “the” way—He is in His own league! Jesus wasn’t just a great Teacher, Prophet or religious leader…He was God in the flesh. This gives His life more weight than any other person in all of history. His veins carried the only sinless, spotless, eternal blood that would be shed for the forgiveness of all sin and salvation. No other Name has been given by which we can be saved!

Have you received salvation? If so, have you thanked Him lately? Have you given Jesus the appreciation, praise, honor and acknowledgment He deserves for the salvation He’s given you? Let’s do so, today!

Do you need salvation? Do you know for sure where you’ll go when you die? Is your life marked by a genuine relationship with God? If not, you can make a change today. It’s as simple as praying this prayer from your heart and surrendering your life to Christ…

Say This:
Dear Father, I come to You today and I want to thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ to this world. Jesus, I thank You for coming to earth as a baby, for showing us the Father, for going to the cross, for shedding your sinless, spotless, eternal blood so that I could experience salvation and eternal life. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Jesus, today, I invite you into my life. I surrender to You. I ask You to forgive me of all of my sins and be the Lord of my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.
