“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
When I look at the life of Jesus in the four gospels I see Him loving everyone and healing the sick of every disease. He forgave people their sins and restored their lives to purpose and joy. Jesus always did good and rescued lives from the consequences of their own choices.
Jesus lifted people to dignity and honor and said he came to find them, not judge them. The wonderful truth of today’s scripture is…If He did it once, He’ll do it again.
The Message Bible says: “For Jesus doesn’t change—yesterday, today, tomorrow, he’s always totally himself.”
Jesus is always the total reflection of His Father’s will. When we see Jesus we see the Father’s will enacted for us. Many people wonder if God loves them, if God will accept them, or if God will help them. We can always know what God will do, simply by looking at Jesus. He never changes, so, if He did it once, He’ll do it again.
Jesus Christ is ever the same, so whatever He did in the Word, He’ll do again for me.
