“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.”
God’s Word is God’s will. The more we know the Word of God, the more we will know the will of God. God’s Word and His will are inseparable. You can’t have one without the other. You see, we can’t ever believe God or trust Him beyond our knowledge of His will for us.
We couldn’t expect God to do something for us or with us unless we were confident He wanted to do it. The knowledge of God’s will is revealed in the Bible, His Word, and produces confident faith in us.
The Message Bible says: “Grace and peace to you many times over as you deepen in your experience with God and Jesus, our Master.”
Appropriating faith doesn’t operate beyond our understanding of the revealed will of God. We must get rid of all uncertainty about God’s will to fully trust Him in each circumstance we face. The will of God is revealed to us on the pages of our Bible.
All of God’s benefits will be multiplied to us through this knowledge. So study it.
I will know God only by knowing His Word. I’ll study it and trust it as His will for me.
