Walking in God’s Blessings

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

“With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation” (Ps. 91:16 KJV).

Psalms 91 is a blessed chapter. It clearly shows us God’s willingness to deliver us out of every situation, and His desire to satisfy us with long life.

This psalm reminds me of Psalm 23. It says that God prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He blesses you while they have to look on. He blesses you while they’re getting mad about it. Your enemies just have to bite their lips and be mad.

It is vital that you study Psalm 91 to make sure you qualify for the blessings it offers. Then if harm comes your way, you can call on the name of Jesus and sidestep the enemy’s trap.

It will be like that huge piece of metal that was about to send me to heaven prematurely. The angel will show up and slap it into the dashboard of the car. And you’ll say thank you that he was big enough to deliver me.

God will deliver you from danger just as He delivered me, like the time I was on the bottom of a swimming pool, having my last thought before I was about to pass on. The next thing I remembered was being pumped out. God saved me.

There was the time when I was driving on I-94 early in the morning, having driven that road hundreds of times. But I fell asleep at the wheel driving over 60 miles an hour. And I woke up and knew that the car drove itself for a couple miles. Somebody had to grab the wheel and say, “Until he wakes up, I’ll drive.” God has delivered me over and over again.

You’ve got to set your love on the Father and say, “Thank you Lord.” You may have been like Jesse Duplantis. Twice, his plane comes down and crashes, and he walked out of both of them safe. He later was able to stand up and tell the devil about it, “You missed again.” And he preaches it all over the world.

Psalm 91 is true. And the blessings of God are real. Study and meditate Psalm 91 to make sure you are under God’s protection.
