When the boss asks for something, do you do it promptly?

by Steve Marr | Articles, Business

When the boss asks for something, do you do it promptly?

Joseph was a key leader in Egypt, and Pharaoh said, “…whatever he says to you, you shall do” (Genesis 41:55, NASB).

When asked to do special things by our boss, accept those requests as opportunities to shine, not as added work.

Understand what the boss really needs, and if possible, look for a better solution.

Managers always take mental notes of folks who just tolerate requests versus those who dig in with enthusiasm and get the job done.

Say “Yes” enthusiastically to earn that next promotion.
