“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
This is the most well known verse in the whole Bible. Many people have heard this wonderful truth concerning the heart God has for all humanity. You know, God had such a love for the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to be their substitute and savior.
The Message Bible says: “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.”
Man, left to himself, is selfish and sinful. Even the best behaved are lost because of the fallen nature we are born with. We are deserving of death and judgment. However, everyone who has faith in Jesus will not come to destruction but have eternal life and a home in heaven. Just trust Jesus and be saved.
God loved me so much He sent Jesus to die for me. I believe on Him and I have eternal life today.
