We Exist For Him

by Tim Davidson | Uncategorized

“Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.”

(1 Cor. 8:6 NASB)

For us, there is only one God, the Father. He created everything, and we live and exist for Him and His glory. To fulfill the joy of His heart, God brought us into right relationship with Him by Jesus. It’s no accident we exist for Him. He likes us and wants us to live for Him.

The Message Bible says: “They say—again, quite rightly—that there is only one God the Father, that everything comes from him, and that he wants us to live for him. Also, they say that there is only one Master—Jesus the Messiah—and that everything is for his sake, including us. Yes. It’s true.”

For us, Jesus Christ is our only Lord. We are now alive in the spirit because of Jesus and His plan of salvation. Never again allow a thought that you have no value, for God created you and saved you so He can enjoy you. You are loved.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

I am a child of God and I exist for His glory. I will live in such a way so He can enjoy me today.
