“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
To be led by the Spirit of God is the awesome privilege and responsibility of the sons and daughters of God. To be led means to be guided by divine impressions and brought forth or carried, and kept, by God’s Spirit daily. God desires to bless and help His kids but we must follow His leadings in order for us to receive those benefits.
The Message Bible says: “God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!”
We that are led by the Spirit of God are in connection with God. We are born of the Spirit and belong in His family. We have kinship with God and with one another. We will bear a family resemblance to God our Father through faith in Jesus Christ.
That means we will walk and talk like God, we will think like and value everything as our Father and respect and love everyone as He does.
Certainly, all who are guided by God’s Spirit are God’s children. The Spirit of God leads me today. I am a child of God.
