“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Proclaim the Gospel, the good news, to all of creation. This is what Jesus has declared we are to do. This mandate is called “The Great Commission” and thank God it is intended for all and encompasses all. To think like Jesus we must think that every person, no matter what his or her attitude or condition, must hear the Gospel proclaimed.
The Message Bible says: “Then he said, ‘Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all.'”
This Great Commission doesn’t demand that we all leave our homes and become missionaries. It does mean that we all accept the commandment to go into our world and proclaim Jesus there. At the office, in the store, at the coffee shop, we must be willing and able. The eternal lives of family, friends and associates are at stake.
Wherever you go in your world, tell everyone the Good News about Jesus.
I am commissioned by Jesus Himself to proclaim the Gospel to everyone in my world today.
