“In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
In Jesus you are being built together with all other believers into the dwelling place of God our Father. You are part of that building that Jesus has built for God’s Spirit to reside in. As building blocks are set in a structure for a purpose, so you are set for a purpose in the Body of Christ.
The Message Bible says: “All of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.”
God dwells in you. He has taken up residence in you. He will live His life through you. If we don’t purpose to live for God and develop a relationship with Him, His plans for us are hindered. We are the ones He has chosen.
God loves us and has invested the whole of His riches for our benefit through the Spirit. Who can offer us a better deal than this? He included all of us in His plan to live with us forever.
I am God’s house. God lives in me. Wherever I go today God goes. I am thankful He has chosen me as His habitation.
