If You Will

by | A Verse A Day

There came a leper?saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean?. Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

(Matt. 8:3 KJV)

The leper asked a very important question: Lord, is it your will to heal me? It would be impossible for him to put his trust in Jesus and be made well without an answer to this question. Faith in God can only be released where the will of God is known. When his question was answered he was immediately cleansed.

The Message Bible says: ?a leper appeared and went to his knees before Jesus, praying, ?Master, if you want to, you can heal my body.? Jesus reached out and touched him, saying, ?I want to. Be clean.? Then and there, all signs of the leprosy were gone.

If you aren?t settled and sure of God?s will for your healing, then you must ask the same question today. However, be careful whom you ask. God?s answers to all your questions are found in your Bible.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

It is God?s will to heal me today because Jesus said I will and so He will.
