In Him We Live

by | A Verse A Day

For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, For we also are His children.

(Acts 17:28 NASB)

In Jesus Christ we are saved and it?s in Him we find our true identity. We are the offspring of God. We are born of God and are called sons and daughters of the Most High. Our life is an extension of His life, love, will, and desire here on planet Earth. Our job is let Christ live His life through us.

The Message Bible says: We live and move in him, can?t get away from him! One of your poets said it well: ?We?re the God-created.?

It is God who gives us the power to live, and to move, and to be who we are. It is by our continuous union with Jesus that we live our life and move in our decisions and have our unique being. We are God?s kids and we should look like it, act like it, sound like it and live like it. We should be showing the world our family resemblance. God is glad to have you on His family tree. We are just chips off of His block.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

In Jesus I live and I move and I have my existence. I am God?s child and I will walk accordingly today.

Sweet Perfume
